ART SHEFFIELD 08 was organised by Sheffield Contemporary Art Forum (SCAF). SCAF a not-for profit company working to further the presence and awareness of contemporary art in Sheffield through joint programming, creating opportunities for artists, audience development and profile raising activities. The directors of the company are representatives of Bloc Studios, Sheffield Galleries & Museums Trust, Sheffield Hallam University, Site Gallery, S1 Artspace & Yorkshire Artspace and independent artists. | Henry Moore Foundation www.henry-moore-fdn.co.uk In addition to giving grants to support sculptural practice throughout Britain, The Henry Moore Foundation maintains the artist’s home, studios and grounds in Hertfordshire, as well as the world’s largest collection of Moore’s work. The Foundation also curates exhibitions of Henry Moore’s work worldwide. The Henry Moore Institute in the heart of Leeds is a centre dedicated to the exploration of sculpture in all its forms, with a vibrant exhibition programme presenting three-dimensional work from ancient to contemporary. |
